Membership Waiting List
Terms and Conditions

You should read this document in its entirety.

We draw to your attention in particular clauses 1.3, 3.1, 6.1 and 9.2 (inclusive).

By paying the Deposit (as defined in clause 3.1), you accept and agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions contained in these terms.

1. These terms and conditions
1.1 What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we will allow you to join and remain on our membership waiting list.
1.2 Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before you apply to join our membership waiting list. These terms tell you who we are, the deposit payable before you are placed on the waiting list, how we may remove you from the waiting list unilaterally and other important information.

2. Information about us and how to contact us
2.1 Who we are. We are Embryo Angling Habitats Limited a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 09144673 and our registered office is at Kazoku House, Honywood Road, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3DS.
2.2 How to contact us. You can contact us by telephoning 01268 285987 or by emailing us at info@embryoangling.org.
2.3 How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you have provided to us.
2.4 “Writing” includes emails. When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.

3. Joining our waiting list
3.1 A £40 deposit (“Deposit”) is payable to join our membership waiting list, redeemable against the costs of your membership upon purchase.
3.2 You may pay the Deposit using any of the following methods:
3.2.1 Card payment;
3.2.2 Bank transfer.
3.3 Following receipt of payment in full of the Deposit, we will add you to the membership waiting list.
3.4 Upon joining the waiting list, you will be given a confirmation email.

4. The waiting list
4.1 The positions on the waiting list are ordered by date, from the earliest sign ups to the newest.
4.2 By being on the waiting list, you accept that the opportunity to become a member is subject to availability of membership spaces and the maximum membership number we in our absolute discretion decide upon. We do not offer any guarantee that an opportunity will become available for you to become a member.

5. Becoming a member
5.1 When you reach the relevant point in the waiting list, you will be contacted in writing by us and given the opportunity to purchase membership within a particular purchase window. The length of any purchase window is at our total discretion but will be no less than 2 weeks commencing on the date we contact you providing you with the opportunity to purchase membership.
5.2 The price of membership will be as told to you when we contact you informing you of the opportunity to purchase membership and of the particular purchase window. The price given to you will have factored in the deduction of the amount of the Deposit and is therefore the final and actual price to be paid for membership.
5.3 If you do not purchase a membership before the end of the purchase window told to you, you will be removed from the waiting list. If you wish to re-join the waiting list, you may do so but you will go to the end of the waiting list and will have to pay an additional non-refundable (except it will be refundable in the circumstances referred to in clause 8.1.1. below) and non- transferable deposit.
5.4 If you pay the price of membership within your purchase window, you will become a member and will be entitled to full membership benefits.

6. Deposit
6.1 The Deposit is non-refundable (except it will be refundable in the circumstances referred to in clause 8.1.1. below) and non-transferable.

7. Your place on the waiting list
7.1 Your place on the waiting list is non-transferable under any circumstances.
If you wish to be removed from the waiting list, please contact us using the details provided above. No refund of the Deposit will apply.

8. Our rights to remove you from the waiting list
8.1 In addition to the reason stated in clause 5.3, we may remove you from the waiting list if:
8.1.1 we decide that there will no longer be a waiting list for membership. If we decide to remove you from the waiting list because the waiting list is ceasing to exist, we shall repay the Deposit to you.

9. How we may use your personal information and your responsibilities relating to your personal information
9.1 How we will use your personal information. We will only use your personal information as set out in our GDPR policy. This is sent to everyone on the waiting list on a yearly basis.
9.2 It remains your responsibility to ensure all personal details and contact details are up to date and correct. We accept no responsibility for non-receipt of notices or any consequences resulting from non-receipt where this is as a result of incorrect or out of date details being supplied.
